Marracash - Sabbie Mobili (Biography)
Marracash, real name Bartolo Fabio Rizzo [1] (Nicosia, May 22, 1979) is an Italian rapper from the Barona district, on the southern outskirts of Milan. It is part of the crew Dogo Gang. In 2005 he published together with deleterious (music producer of Dogo Gang) the disc self-Rock Music. In 2008 he published the first official record label under Universal Music.
The name "Marracash" is taken over by the artist as a child, being of Sicilian origin and having well-marked face, the other children called him "Moroccan" or "Marrakesh". Ten years after his family is evicted from the house on Via Bramante in Milan and moved to a suburb of the Barona, where he grew up and where he still lives. These events mark the artist and very often recur in his songs early in his career and the hard Marracash [2]. Marracash, in a television interview on All Music July 7, 2008, said that as a child his favorite singers were the 883 [3]. He comes to music in 2003, debuting in mixtape PMC vs. Club Dogo. In the same year he also shape the project Dogo Gang.
In 2005, self-produced along with Del (producer of Dogo Gang) Rock Music [2], a "compilation of the road," they collaborate other members of the Gang and other famous names of Italian hip hop scene. Rock Music reaches 2000 copies sold despite not having a true distribution. Shortly after Marracash signing a contract with Universal Music, which he published in 2008 for the album Marracash, which reached gold record. In 2010, a public street album, Rock Music 2, and shortly after, October 31, 2011 he released his latest album, King Of Rap too 'it went gold.
