Trevante’s own story begins in 2005, when at the age of 12, left his hometown of Houston, Texas to pursue his dreams of being a musician. Upon arriving in Atlanta, Georgia, he and his family established Selsum Records. His first two singles, “That Girl” and “Baby Girl” were released on the family-operated record label.
Inspired by artists like Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown, El Debarge, NSYNC, and the Backstreet Boys, Trevante morphs these influences into his own genre which he dubs “jukebox.”Pleasant sound posing for an artist to discover..
